It’s so lovely to sometimes be an actual part of weddings we photograph. This time it was our very dear friends Jeanette and Nik. Both creative types, they put together a beautiful, fun day, which started with the bartering for the bride (to leave Nik some dignity we post just an intro to it, but let’s just say, he didn’t get his bride cheaply ) at Frasers Suites in East Perth.
The ceremony took place at Scented Gardens in South Perth, a lovely, secluded place. Sounds of many kazoos playing ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ probably baffled everyone at the nearby playground, but the guests were delighted to participate in such a great way. Both musicians, Jeanette and Nik also had a wonderful guitarist there, and two violinists as well.
Great music continued in the evening with a jazz band and the wonderful Libby Hammer. Mt Eliza house was such a lovely surprise for a reception venue, tucked away, but in a great part of Kings Park. The yellow and grey details were wonderful and tasteful, and the whole evening was such great fun. We also have to praise Jen Nie for the wonderful flowers, and Snow White Cakes for the tastiest cake.
We are very happy Nik and Jeanette trusted us with their photos, we know how much they mean to them, especially Nik who is a a very talented photographer, you can see his work here: Nik Babic Photography.
