Carice and Chris got married on a hot Saturday afternoon in the midst of this crazy Perth heat wave that is still here one month later. The wedding ceremony was held at one of our favourite churches in Perth, the pretty and cosy St John's Lutheran Church in Northbridge. For bridal party photos, we first went to a location Carice suggested, and one that frankly, we were not aware of. This was a bushland area near the Herdsman Lake, not far away from the building of the West Australian newspaper. What a great find this was for us – we will make sure we’re back there as soon as possible. We also hope the tiger snakes will stay away again Other locations we visited were the Jackadder Lake, the famous oak tree opposite the Old Swan Brewery, and we finished the day at the Floreat Beach watching the sun set and the day cool down a bit.
