We love all sorts of weddings, but the ones we love the most are probably the autumn weddings. There is something special about that time of the year, when the sun peaks through clouds from a low angle and when we try to convince our wedding clients to have their location photos taken across the road from the Old Swan Brewery No other place in Perth presents an autumn landscape the way those lovely orange leaves of the maple trees do.

Ji and Chris got hitched on one of those gorgeous autumn days. We started the day by meeting Ji’s lovely family and friends at Ji’s parents’ house, where we learnt that some of them had travelled all the way from South Korea to be with Ji on her big day. The wedding ceremony was held at the Wildflower Pavillion in Kings Park. For the location photos, we first went to the nearby pine tree area of the Kings Park, where lovely warm sun greeted us. From there on, of course, we went to the park near the brewery to capture the maple leaves in all their glory. We concluded the day with an intimate reception at the Boatshed Restaurant in South Perth.
