We kicked off our busiest time of the year (February-March) with a lovely wedding of Kate and Dan. The whole day was so much fun with my personal highlight being witnessing a priest use Lego blocks to explain the marriage as a foundation of life and family. We’re huge fans of all things quirky, and will always remember the scene. We started the day with Kate’s preparation at her parents’ home. The wedding ceremony was held at the East Fremantle Baptist Church. We drove down to Booyeembara Park in Fremantle for some location photography. This was our first visit to this park, and we definitely plan to come back again soon. We also visited Blackwall Reach and Point Walter for some water-themed photos. The wedding reception was held at the Swan Yacht Club, and I was glad to get there on time after my Garmin GPS took me for a ride that included wanting me to turn right from the Striling Hwy bridge onto the Riverside Rd twenty metres below!
