This wedding from a few weeks ago started with both girls and boys getting ready at Crown Metropol Hotel, however they did take very good care not to meet. The girls got their hair (Studio M) and make-up (Jane Matthews) done in their room, which unfortunately had a broken air-condition. That didn’t stop them jumping on the bed and having fun! The guys opted for a drink at the Rockpool Restaurant.

The striking red and black flower bouquets were created by Jen’s Floral Designs.

For photos we went to East Perth, and also Queens Gardens, where the famous “Notting Hill” movie bench is. Now, the movie is fantastically romantic, so that’s a plus, but the story how it got to be in Perth is a bit more of a downer, so there was some discussion whether to include it in the photos or not. Don’t know the story? Read more about it here.

The ceremony and reception both happened at the Boatshed Restaurant renowned for its spectacular 180 degree views of the Swan River, Perth City and Kings Park. Of course we couldn’t go past the jetty and as always got some stunning results.
